We represent clients in a broad range of labor, employment and human resources matters in the private and public sectors. We have successfully defended employers in highly complex state and federal litigation involving race, gender and disability discrimination, sexual harassment, medical leave issues, whistle blowing, and workplace search and seizure.

 

The firm has substantial expertise in employee discipline, discharge, and layoff, as well as general personnel and labor matters. We have practiced before a multitude of administrative agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the California Public Employment Relations Board (PERB), the California Department of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE), the United States Department of Labor (DOL), the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the State Teachers Retirement System (STRS),

and the California Employment Development Department (EDD).
