Mr. Fang represents and advises businesses and public entities on employment and business litigation matters.  Before joining Ruiz & Sperow, LLP, he worked for 12 years as a senior associate at San Francisco-based employment and public entity firm, Lafayette & Kumagai, LLP.  Mr. Fang has handled wrongful termination claims, claims for defamation, unfair business practice claims, wage and hour claims, and claims under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA), and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA).  A recent defense based on school district immunity resulted in a published opinion (Cerna v.
