Lyndon Y. Chee

Mr. Chee practices in the areas of public contracts and construction law, with an emphasis on representing public entities on matters related to public works contracting.

After being admitted to the State Bar of California in 1995, Mr. Chee joined the Construction Team of the San Francisco City Attorney's Office as a Deputy City Attorney where he advised and represented city officials and staff on public contracting and construction related issues, including negotiating and drafting professional services contracts, the RFP/RFQ process, the competitive bidding of public works contracts, responding to bid protests, drafting enabling legislation, and litigating construction disputes.

Prior to joining Ruiz & Sperow, Mr. Chee was an associate with Wolkin·Curran, LLP in San Francisco where he represented surety and other private clients in matters related to performance and payment bonds, indemnity, bankruptcy, contract drafting, and general commercial litigation. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
