Matthew M. Nakano

Mr. Nakano represents and advises public employers on employment, labor, and education law issues. He recently graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law, with an emphasis in employment and labor law, and also studied international law abroad in Hungary and the Czech Republic. During law school, Mr. Nakano received the CALI Award in Legal Research and Writing, and was a member of Phi Delta Phi, the International Legal Fraternity.

Mr. Nakano earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, with a double emphasis in information systems and management consulting. Before law school, he was a congressional intern for Congressman Brad Sherman, and a legal assistant at Milstein, Adelman & Kreger, LLP, where he worked on complex construction defect litigation and class-action lawsuits.
