From 1986-1988, Mr. Calderon served as a research attorney for the Alameda County Superior Court. Since that time he has practiced public sector law for a large variety of clients, including schools, cities, counties and special districts. Mr. Calderon specializes in employee and student discipline, constitutional law, and issues concerning Internet and computer use in public schools and agencies.

Mr. Calderon handles human resource matters, labor negotiations, administrative hearings, and employment litigation. He has litigated numerous personnel, school law and labor relations cases, acting as lead counsel in several precedent setting cases. See, Dunn v. Jurupa Unified School District (2000) 79 Cal.App.4th 957; Service Employees Int’l Union v. Board of Trustees of the West Valley/Mission Comm. Coll. Dist. (1996) 47 Cal.App.4th 1661; Citizens Action to Serve All Students v. Thornley (1990) 222 Cal.App.3d 748.

 

Mr. Calderon is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of California, the United States District Court for the Northern, Central, Southern and Eastern Districts of California, the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit, the California Supreme Court, and the United States Supreme Court.
