Okhee Shim

Ms. Shim represents and advises public employers on a variety of employment and education matters. Before joining Ruiz & Sperow, she was part of a civil rights practice in the East Bay, which focused on litigation in federal court. Ms. Shim has a background and a concentration in International Law.

Ms. Shim co-founded the Hastings Human Rights Project for Haiti, and organized and led a successful delegation of law students and professors to Haiti. She was a member of the Hastings Race & Poverty Law Journal and participated in the Hastings Civil Justice Clinic. She speaks German and Korean with fluency, and French proficiently.
