P. Bobby Shukla

Ms. Shukla represents and advises public employers and non-profits on a variety of employment, education and litigation matters. Before joining Ruiz and Sperow, Ms. Shukla gained valuable litigation experience in the areas of employment, civil rights and criminal defense law. In 2005, Ms. Shukla helped gain a verdict in favor of an individual client in a First Amendment speech discrimination case. During law school, Ms. Shukla was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for Appellate Advocacy and was a founding member of the Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal, for which she served as Executive Articles Editor. Ms. Shukla is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She also speaks Hindi fluently and is proficient in Spanish and Portuguese.
